SUGAR AND TOTAL NITROGEN CONTENT IN SPRING WHEAT AT VEGETATION PHASES AS DIAGNOSTIC INDICATORS OF FUNCTIONAL STATUS OF PLANTS E.N. Pasynkova, A.A. Zavalin, A.V. Pasynkov
Summary. The aim of the research: to study the dynamics of accumulation of the amount of sugars and total nitrogen in the plants of four varieties of spring wheat in phases of vegetation. Determination of the amount of sugars in plants held photometric method (modification of the S.S. Solovyov). The content of the amount of sugars in the phase of tillering and to the greatest extent determined by the application of nitrogen fertilizer, and in the flowering phase - hydrothermal conditions. On average, the grades of the content of the amount of sugars in the phase of tillering (8,7 - 13,1%) and flowering (8,3 - 12,4%) is almost the same, and most of their content (of 9,5 - 17,9%) was observed in the phase of . In all phases of the growing season varieties of wheat varied significantly by the accumulation of the amount of sugars, but not differed on the content of total nitrogen. The accumulation of dry aboveground mass, the contents of the amount of sugars and total nitrogen in them by phases of vegetation may be diagnostic indices of functional state of the plants. The use of the abovelisted indicators as independent variables in carrying out multiple regression analysis allows with varying degrees of accuracy to predict not only the level of yields of the main products, but also the other indicators of the biochemical composition of the agricultural crops.

Winter wheat, depend on the infectious background Bipolaris sorokiniana (determined by flotation) and fungi Fusarium.
