THE DEVELOPMENT OF A METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF MONOSACCHARIDES IN THE FRUIT CHERRY LATE - PADUS SEROTINA (EHRH.) AGARDH
The technique of quantitative determination of monosaccharides in the fruit cherry late - Padus serotina (Ehrh.) Agardh by UV spectrophotometry allows the differential to determine the content of hexoses and keto-sis. To determine the hexoses in terms of glucose used by reaction with phenol in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid. Glucose content in the fruits of P. serotina (Ehrh.) Agardh was 13,34 0,36%. Ketosis in terms of fructose were determined using as reagents resorcinol in the presence of diluted hydrochloric acid (reaction Selivanova). Fructose in fruit P. serotina (Ehrh.) Agardh was 3,54 0,04%.
