Summary. The data on observation of 1522 patients with breast cancer, who were treated during 1991-2005 at Donetsk Regional Anti-Tumor Center, were taken as the basis for this study. In all there were done 1581 catheterizations of different arterial vessels for selective intra-arterial polychemoteraphy of these patients. According to the type of the vessel chosen for the catheterization, patients were divided into 4 groups: in 108 cases thoracoacromial artery was catheterized, in 124 cases - subclavicular artery, in 967 cases internal thoracic artery was catheterized through an upper epigastric superior artery, in 382 cases catheterization of internal thoracic artery was done through perforative branches. The greatest efficacy of intraarterial polychemotherapy in catheterization of the internal thoracic artery through an upper epigastric artery was proved, as the less number of compications (7,1%) was noted. At the same time, in catheterization of perforating branches of the internal thoracic artery complications were revealed in 14,9% of cases; in catheterization of subclavicular arthery through the branches of brachial artery complications were noted in 27% of cases; in catheterization of thoracoacromial artery - in 23% of cases.

Summary. Combination therapy improved the indices of scales which characterize vertigo and its accompanying symptoms. The results of this action are comparable in the treatment groups. Basic course of vertigo is disturbance of venous outflow from the cranial cavity due to the increase of arterial pressure, so in the combined treatment betagistina dihydrochloride was used.
